Diners Club Club Rewards - Does Diners Club ever offer anything like double points?

My Diner's card often gets unused (except for car rentals), because my major goal now is Southwest credits and the WN Visa "pays better" (1 RR credit per $1200 spent vs. 1 per $1500).

I don't pay enough attention to know whether DC ever offers bonuses on spending, like double points for a month once in a while.

If so, I'd switch a lot of purchases over.

I haven't gotten any spend bonus offers since it became a Mastercard.

But they do offer bonuses on redemption (eg 50% on BA transfers, though I sure miss the days of 100%).

In past several years DC has offered a redemption bonus on WN - I believe it was 16000 pts for a RR ticket - which comes out to $1000 spent per credit.
