MilesBuzz! - Miles Expiration Info

I have a Delta Skymiles account with some miles on it (not enough for award yet). The account is set to expire Dec 31, 2003. I am booked on an Air France flight on Dec 20 and Air Jamaica on Dec 21. Is the Dec 31, 2003 deadline for activity, or for activity POSTED? What should I do to avoid account deactivation?
