American Express Membership Rewards - Question about Canceled AMEX 2 for 1 Benefit

I am thinking about canceling my AMEX Plat. Card since AMEX is starting to cancel a few of their best features.

Here is my Question.... If I book a 2 for 1 ticket before Nov 15 (cut off) and cancel my card, once I pay the balance and for the ticket. Will my tickets still be good?

Undoubtedly. There is no requirement for you to be a cardholder at the time you that you travel; only when you purchase.

Yeah...the ticket will still be valid. That was actually asked/discussed/verified in the very long thread discussion the benefit in general before the new thread about the benefit being canceled.
