Both staff members commented about the low rate on checkin and checkout last weekend during my first stay.

Well the email i got had a click thru link which just automatically showed these rates. Although i think the .co.uk site and the promo code should work fine

It does bring up some great rates in London, however, it does cutoff in January as advertised. I find that sometimes the rate codes work after their expiry, but not this one. I tried for March, no go.

I wish we knew what the 250 hotels are ; this doesn't work for Paris.

If you use the codes listed at hotukdeals (linked in the post above), you can use hilton.com to book them. Maybe there's a special link for the US site, but I haven't seen it. Definitely not necessary.:)

I was able to get a discount with some hotels on the continent using the standard U.S. website (and the code) earlier today.

with the promo code, one could have booked on either US or UK site.

Of course! These kinds of promos are always capacity-controlled (availability restricted to a limited number of rooms on a limited number of dates). You always have to plug in different dates until you find something (and you may never find anything).

A lot of people, even those who should know better, don't seem to understand this....

Contrary to my last post.. rooms are available in Greater London afterall.. at less desirable properties.

I found 28.50GBP at Hilton Croydon and 42.50GBP at Hilton Watford, for 12/5-7. Including breakfast.

But I wouldn't stay at these properties even if they paid me those amounts. Too far out of the way with poor access to the tube, not to mention run down. But if someone with time and healthy legs needs a place to crash (and get stay credits), there you go..

I am finding some hotels available for the special discount rate on the UK website that are not available on the US website, so it is useful to check both websites for hotels with the PR09SW code.

I tried this code in paris and where as it worked for me but it is not 50% saving compared to their advance purchase rate for example it was $89 conpared to $109 at paris airport and $139 compared to $199 advance purchase rate in paris downtown. Am i missing any thing or it is 50% of some other rack rate?

Also, For both the hotels if i choose 2 adults and 1 children (my 2 year old) then it shows no room but it shows me room for 2 adults. Do you think they will allow my 2 year old in the same room if i go ahead and book with 2 adults? Thanks

The savings at various hotels may not be a full 50 percent, but they tend to be around 40-45 percent which is still a great deal of savings. I scored the Hilton London Metropole for £52 with breakfast, and it is simply an awesome deal.:D

Don't forget this deal ends today, GMT or when I don't know.

Picked up the Hilton Copenhagen for £66 ($105) a night in December. Considering the going rate of decent hotels downtown, that's a great deal.

The 50% saving is off the normal B&B rate, not the prepay.

The rates including breakfast were less than the cheapest available rate, e.g. for Frankfurt Hilton it was 137 euros for 2 people with breakfast (115 euros for 1 person) vs 185 euros for advanced purchase rate. Breakfast alone at that hotel will set you back 31 euros per person (:mad:)

couldn't get any in Germany to work

it is now over but i did make it work for germany. hilton frankfurt for €87.50 with breakfast. also receive upgrade to exec lounge. definitely best rate i did ever see there.

i did meet another flyertalker at same rate for same night. he was also very happy!
