In case you have not seen it, SAA has a great fare from their U.S. gateways (JFK & IAD) to Dakar, Johannesburg, Cape Town and maybe Durban for travel during the month of November. I saw this promoted on Travelzoo in the U.S. last week and they were directing the bookings to www.flysaa.com. The fare is $244 each-way, based on round-trip travel, plus applicable taxes and fuel surcharges. It is a great offer for anyone thinking about making a last minute trip to West or South Africa.
