Hello Everyone!
I just received my World Elite card and I am already having trouble.
Does anyone know how to set up a online account access for the mastercard, without have any other Ameriprise accounts?
I went to the Home page and it asks for either a cliet id number or a bank account number in order to register. Since I have neither of these and only a World Elite Mastercard #, how can I set up an account to log in? I have called all of their 800's and been on hold and switched around to many dept's for over 2 hours. No one is any help. Compared fo AMEX Platnium, I am not very impressed. and the Customer Rep's were pretty rude and non-caring.
Any help/advise or web links would be great.
Thanks all!

Same experience here
I've tried calling 3 times - either I'm placed on hold forever, or I get the phone-bounce, or I get someone with whom it feels like talking to a wall...
"I have my credit card on hand, i have no banking or investment or any other account with ameriprise - just a credit card. Where can I find a client or bank # to register on the website?"
"Sir, to verify your identity, we need your client #"
"...."

You should get a letter (snail mail) from Ameriprise. It will have your client number on it.

Ok, found out how to get the client id account number.
Call 800-297-7378 press 1, 2, 3... and ask them for the client id number. Then you should be able to set up an account online. If you have trouble in that dept. ask for the web surpport services dept.

So what IS the URL for setting up online access? I *am* an Ameriprise customer, and can't figure out how to set it up!

Go to this website (their homepage) :
http://www.ameriprise.com/default-home.asp
- Then on the Left side of the page you will see a log in screen.
- in White letters within that gray box, click on "Register"
- The click on "My Financial Accounts".
-There you will need to have your "Client id number" . IF you just received your World Elite card, it took about 7-8 days before I received a send letter that had my "Client id" number on it (Would have been nice if they had explained that part of registration when they sent my card to me.) OR you can call the number that I listed in the first post (only open Monday -Friday) Not sure about Saturdays, but, I tried finding all this out last Sunday (not open). Very fustrating that no one at the 1-800-483 number listed on the card knew anything about logging in online and setting up an online account.
I also was told that you get your Prioity Pass "Welcome kit" two weeks after you get your card. Both you and any second (only) designed card holder will get individual Prioity Pass cards for Lounge access. I was also told that the Primary card hold Does Not have to travel with the Secondary card holder for them to get access to the lounges.
IF anyone else has any additional info on this card or its benefits, Please post them here. I would love to know the full range of benefits that it carries, since most of the brouchures and websites only list general information on benefits. Details would be nice. :D

Ah -- I see what has happened. I already had a login here, but the credit card appeared as an account and I did not notice - I had been trying to fool around at the Juniper/Barclays site to register there, unsuccessfully.
