Changed my credit card a month ago as a BlueChip, since then, no more HOTDEALS, no more mileage to my frequent flyer A/C???????

In the for what it's worth category, based on my experience (I rent cars 364 days a year)...with regard to Thrifty in particular, when making a reservation, I never use my BlueChip number as it almost always results in a higher rate. I've also found that the hotdeals option does not pop up whenever I enter ANY promotion code, so I invariably leave it blank. Obviously Thrifty has a strategy going on, I'm just a mere pawn reacting to their web business strategy. Hope that's helpful.

I've NEVER experienced a Blue Chip number modifying the rate in any way, unless your Blue Chip profile has a Corporate Discount number in it. You sure you don't have one?
