Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Health/Travel Insurance

Hi Guys,

I am going to be traveling to Australia in the new year for about 3 months (maybe more). I am looking to buy health insurance to cover my stay, but I haven't been having the best of luck finding sites. Seems most sites I look at are plans for Australian residents, or require me to have been in Australia for 3 months already! I was wondering if any users here know of any sites, could tell me of their experiences purchasing insurance, etc? Low Budget Medical insurance tips would be much appreciated.. :p Thank you!

You need travel insurance cover rather than health insurance. Normally you can get this from the country you originate in (and get the bonus of coverage of your transport to & from Australia).
