Used to be a Residence Inn, I-75 just South of I-70 interchange on Poe ave, Dayton, OH. They're supposedly under renovation but I saw no evidence of that. Definitely needs work - warped wood, chipped paint, the whole 9 yards.

The first room they gave me, the air conditioner didn't work.

Front desks said they'd give me another room.

Next room: airco fine, but the bathtub had water running without stop. Nothing I did would slow the stream from the tub faucet.

My co-worker had the room next to me. His toilet wouldn't stop running. He took a look into the tank and found...a pair of pink women's underwear causing the plumbing to leak.

Finally, the wireless wouldn't work for either of us. At all.

We got out of there and into a Fairfield, about midnight.

The clerk at the desk said that their new manager was all about improving the place and renovating and etc., but signs like these tell me it's going to be a long haul at best.

Sounds like perhaps the best renovation would be tearing it down and starting over from scratch! :)
