Las Vegas - Getting casinos to match offers

Ok...is this a reasonable thing for me to try?
I'm looking to book a room for my bachelor party in January. I called my host at Bally's/Paris and he told me I could have Friday/Sunday comp'd and that Saturday would be $100 (same thing that's showing in my Harrah's account). I have very little play experience with MGM and the Wynn (the other place that gets my play) isn't offering anything near that.
Could I call a host at Planet Hollywood, Mirage, TI, etc and see if they'd match that deal? Is that something that's even possible or am I just hoping to get lucky?
One of the other guys going gets the same offers from Bally's/Paris that I do. Another guy going gets fully comp'd by Harrah's as he goes back and forth from Diamond to Seven Stars as a blackjack player. Should I try and press a host for 3 rooms giving them that info or would we be better all calling individually?
We don't have a problem with Bally's/Paris...I just thought that PH or TI would be a better bachelor party place as most of us don't get significant offers from Caesars and I despise the property and their crappy blackjack.

I'd say let the 7* player lead the negotiations of coordinating the rooms (with all the relevant details of the other players). Also, keep in mind there might be some forthcoming offers for January that haven't shown up on your account at harrahs.com (though, I do have a few offers on my account from 01/01/2009 to 02/01/2009; anyway, always make sure you are double checking your bookings with and without offer codes).
IMO, since it's your bachelor party weekend (BTW, congrats), it's probably NOT the best time to try a new property. Chances are, you "might" get a deal, but it will be based on you providing a set amount of play for that weekend. Probably NOT the best time to commit to table time, IMHO. ;)
But, if it was me, and it was my weekend, I'd probably just chalk it up and purchase a cool specialty party suite for the weekend (I'm thinking Palms ;) ) or, possibly something like the Absolut Suites (http://www.harrahs.com/casinos/caesars-palace/casino-misc/absolut-suite-detail.html) @ Caesars.
This weekend is all about the party!

Doesn't hurt to ask, all properties are hurting so you might just get someone to match. As for asking for additional rooms, depends on which weekend in January as the first one is CES show and gets very busy in Vegas. Also, if it was my party, I'd go to Hard Rock, more beautiful scenery ;).

My only problem with booking a $$$ suite is we've got 6 guys going on the trip...so space would obviously be an issue. We're going Jan 16-19. Rates are really high at Wynn and Venetian/Palazzo even though there isn't a big convention in town that I can find on the calendar. I really don't want to look into moving properties so maybe I'll have our big player call Caesar's and just set it up there. We won't go to PURE (had a HORRIBLE experience with table service for the big player's wedding at Caesars) so that eliminates the biggest incentive to stay there IMO.
Maybe we'll wait a few weeks for the effects of recent economic changes to hit home for the casinos (Wynn stock is down 37% since Sept 19, MGM down 51.5% since Sept 19, and Industry average down 29% since Oct 2) and start reflecting a bit more in their rates...and then I'll see what I can land.
