I have 45 minutes to connect from Terminal B in Dallas/Ft. Worth to international flight at Terminal D. What are the odds my baggage is going to make it >50/50?

Jouy31 TravelBuzz moderator Sweetone Oct 12, 08, 4:57 pm I've never had any problems with my bags making it in that situation. Granted I don't fly as often as many here, but I have had several trips through DFW with that kind of transit time. 3Cforme Oct 12, 08, 5:10 pm Minimum Connect Time at DFW for domestic to international is 40 minutes, so your schedule isn't generous. http://www.flyerguide.com/wiki/index.php/Minimum_Connecting_Times_(AA) robyng Oct 13, 08, 4:04 pm I would never allow 45 minutes for a domestic to international connection anywhere in the US. Not because your baggage wouldn't make it - but because - if your plane is 25 minutes late - you won't make it! Not a big deal if the next flight is in 1 or 2 hours - but that usually isn't the case with international flights. Robyn |
