hello all,
im heading to Trinidad for the upcoming US vs TnT soccer match. was curious about the trip from POS to Hasely Crawford Stadium. is a cab the best way to make the trip? how long should we expect it to take? how much will it cost? are there things to do and see near the stadium? if not, where are some good spots to hit up the day of the match?
thanks!

If you are staying at a downtown hotel (Hilton, Hyatt, or heaven forbid the Crowne Plaza), it would normally take 10-15 mins in a cab to get the the stadium. But unfortunately traffic is highly variable in POS.

Where to go: Bat and Ball (inside the cricket stadium) and Trotters (http://www.trotters.net/)are the two places I've been. Both a re sports bars/pubs. Trotters is more lively in my opinion. If you're stuck, there is also a Ruby Tuesday's across the highway from the stadium, just to the east of the Marriott Courtyard.

Airport: depends on time of day. If you have an early morning flight, you should be ion the check in line at least two hrs before scheduled departure. Security is 20-30 mins max at peak times, based on my expereince.
