Do you travel with photos of your pets? Do you have your pet professionally photographed? I did with Cobaka recently, and Mr. Kipper, upon seeing the photos for the first time said, "Cobaka's looking at you, standing beside her and off camera, not at the photographer." However, they did a great job photographing her, especially since she tends not to stay still.

I once had our two cats photographed with Santa.... not me, the real Santa at our local shelter.... it was so funny as a Christmas card.

I do carry picture as my screen saver on my computer... and on my iphone.

I also have had my lab's picture taken w/Santa ... One Xmas I even bought matching sweaters for the picture (hubby wouldn't participate). I also have pix of my sweetie everywhere ... office, home, phone, purse ... My dog actually likes having her picture taken. When she was about 1 year old, we were at the beach ... someone pointed a camera in her general direction, and she posed! I guess she's a ham.

I had my Yorkie photographed with the Easter Bunny at Petsmart. I thought, hey, we're Jewish but Petsmart donates the proceeds to their animal charities. Willy didn't like the giant rabbit head at all, but it's a cute picture. I have it on my desk to remind me of him.

What's worse was after Willy's photo was taken, the Easter Bunny took off her giant head and left it on the chair and took a break. Very bizarre seeing the head by itself. Someone probably should have told the girl to take the head with her.

I am having lots of problems photographing my Schnoodle, Charlie, with the flash. He is black and has very dark brown eyes so without the flash, you can't see his eyes at all. And with the flash, he has the white flash eyes, the devil dog look. I can't get rid of them. I've tried with red-eye reduction and without and no difference. Any suggestions on that?

I've been handing out the little wallet size photos of Cobaka! I gave one to our realtor, who's a big dog person, and one to a co-worker! I need to get the 5X7 framed for my desk. :)

Both hubby and I have pix of Fluke on our cell phones. My office is decorated in "early labrador retriever" ... pix of my dog, pix of labs, lab calendar, stuffed animal labs, ceramic labs, etc. I also have a vanity pet license plate, w/my initials and LAB. If the worst thing someone can say about me is that I love my dog too much, oh well. I have been known to pull out pix of my dog at business and social settings ... it's amazing what an ice breaker it is, especially when you meet a fellow animal lover.

I have hundreds of photos and several videos of my dog on my iPhone, she's even set as my wallpaper. I also have a webcam setup in her room so I can watch her from where ever I am during the day from my phone or computer.

We've never had her professionally photographed though.

I like that idea... I may have to work on that for when she's staying at her grandparents' and we're traveling! :D
