The Caribbean - Liat Airlines

What is that spray that LIAT flight attendants use on certain flights???? We have flown them from SJU to POS then from POS to GEO and back again, and I think every time our flight attendant announced something like, it is a health regulation that we spray the aircraft, if you are sensitive, cover your eyes and mouth. Just wondering???????

This happens to all flights between certain countries, particularly tropical countries.
It's to kill any insects that may have flown on board.

I don't know what the brand of spray is though, but it's not supposed to have any adverse health affects (supposedly).
