American Express Membership Rewards - Amex Centurion France: 4 months to make a reservation!

Just to add another bad experience to the ones I have already posted about Amex Centurion France:

I called them up 4 months ago to organize a trip to Brazil for my family and I for next Christmas. As they never got back to me, I sent them an email about every 15 days to ask if they could update me. As most of my emails had been ignored, I finally gave up and decided to organize everything on my own.

To my surprise, they sent me an email 2 days ago with the information I had requested at the beginning of June! Of course, the hotel rates are now very expensive since we're getting pretty close to Christmas!

Anyway, I decided I was gonna laugh about it as I think that if I was to take it seriously, I'd be devastated by their incompetence!

Obviously, Centurion cards are not handed out like candies in France, the customer base is small (around 1,500 cardholders). I suppose that it's not enough to justify a french speaking Centurion team, and that requests are treated by the Platinum team.

Indeed! Anyway, 4 months wouldn't be any better for a Plat cardholder! ;)

Sounds like the German Centurion desk is handling your requests.
1.) Asked them to book tickets for a musical in London: The said they could not do this as ticketmaster.co.uk would only send tickets to a UK address .... If all they do is use ticketmaster,... ...!?
2.) Wanted to book the Mandarin Oriental Macau: Agent did not know what "Macau" is and offered to bbok me into the MO HKG ...
...I have a few more of these stories....
