Qantas Frequent Flyer - A380 schedule reduction in Nov/Dec 2008

As per 02OCT08 Amadeus Schedule update, QANTAS' A380 initial operating schedule has been reduced to just 2 weekly from 5 for November and December 2008.

Sydney - Los Angeles on QF011/012 will operate on Day 5 only. Day 357 from 02JAN09
Melbourne - Los Angeles on QF093/094 will operate on Day 1 only. Day 13 from 05JAN09

Planned 3 weekly Sydney - Singapore - London is still scheduled for 16JAN09 launch (corrected)

Is day '1' Sunday or Monday ?

Since the answer has been provided kindly by a fellow FTer I thought I would answer my own question to clarify the A380 will fly to LAX departing MEL on Mondays and SYD on Fridays during Nov & Dec

Day 1 is a Monday
