Etihad's PR machine has some news on numbers and loads for BNE-SIN-AUH .
I can add that it was the best (Y) intl. flight I've taken from Australia (though having that flight half-empty helped ;)).
Brisbane deserves a decent service to Europe via the MidEast, so it's great news for both the Australian economy, for tourism and for Aussies travelling.
75% loads is pretty good in the current, expensive, environment.
Did I mention Koala-pult (http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=852648)? :D
Etihad celebrates successful year with 36,000 Queenslanders (http://www.etravelblackboard.com/showarticle.asp?id=82783&nav=2)[etravelblackboard AU]
After taking almost 36 000 Queensland travellers to new heights Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), celebrates the first anniversary of its Brisbane to Abu Dhabi services.
Establishing itself as a premium airline in the eyes of Queenslanders, the Abu Dhabi-based airline has performed exceptionally well, with seat factors averaging more than 75 per cent. With three times a week services to Abu Dhabi, via Singapore, Etihad operated more than 300 flights to and from Australia’s Sunshine State.
