I will be arriving on a SQ flight from YVR and connecting to an Asiana flight to HKG. Time between flight is 2hrs 45 mins.

Do I pick up bags and check in again, or can I check thru from YVR?

You should be fine to thru check baggage to HKG. Are you on a single ticket? Even if it's two tickets Star carriers should interline baggage if you request it.

Here's how I fly

AC yyz-yvr
SQ yvr-icn
Asiana icn-hkg

Long route, but it's a reward ticket on Star Alliance

I'm assuming with "interline", I can actually check from YYZ-HKG. Am I correct?

What we are asking is are all segments on ONE ticket?

If they are on one ticket you will have no issues. If they are *NOT* have a printed copy of the connecting e-ticket confirmations and present that to AC in YVZ, normally they will tag the bag all the way to HKG. If Not SQ should be able to tag it in YVR no issues.

You must make sure though if you are on one ticket or two to ensure Asiana gets the baggage tag number in their system to ensure your bag is loaded. You can do this when you go to the transfer desks or in the Asiana lounge(s)

It's an e-ticket (reward) issued by AC, but as you can see using 3 *A members

Yes we understand it is 3 carriers, what we asked was is it all under one AC record locator/e-ticket. It sounds like it is, so you should have NO problem with AC checking you all the way through to HKG.
