Hello!
I already know the following:
1. I am not right in the MR section to ask this
2. I know there exists a heavy difference between the "good" and the charge Centurion card
I already found a card for both a Euro and a USD charge card, but no centurion whatsoever.
Can anyone please point me out where to find more info on the Centurion CHARGE card and where/how to apply for it? I have recently a PLAT card, and most probably I wouldn't have any additional benefits, right?
Just try to give me a link and some feedback maybe, thanks,
Timo
I posted the details of the International Dollar/Euro Centurions here -> International Currency Cards (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=784610)
The Centurion card is "by invitation only", you can't directly apply for it.
You could call Customer Service and ask them to forward your call to the Centurion team.

$250k+ is also a requirement for IDC Centurion and not just for US Centurion?

This is somewhat misleading. You cannot apply directly but calling and asking them to consider you will get you an application offer from them if you are otherwise qualified. So it is basically applying directly.
The IDC cards all are run out of the UK. With the UK not accepting new apps for the GBP Centurion Card now I don't know that IDC Centurions are available either.
you can have an account with any private banks here in Europe with a minimum balance of over 1 Mio. USD/€, then you can ask the bank to apply a Centurion ICD for you :)
might be a bit hard to be a US resident and/or person, since most of the European banks nowadays don't welcome US person anymore as client (blame IRS :)) .

the sentence should be understood as follows:
- you can't apply directly for the International Centurion
- since I don't have reliable information about the current criteria, Mr "teckardt" should ask directly if he would qualify.

Dont they also issue International Currency Cards through Amex partner banks and that the banks can overide or guarantee an approval for a Centurion Card.
I found this site http://www.iccpartner.com/

Just like stated in the reply #7 (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10458288&postcount=7) in this thread. You can apply for a card through a partner bank, naturally those banks will require you to have certain amount of assets with them before they will proceed with Centurion application.

It's managed out of the UK. There are not firm rules with Centurion and UK...seems to change every month!
