MKE named 4th best domestic airport.

Congratulations to both Midwest and the MKE airport.

It will be interesting to see if Midwest can hold on to the top spot next year, after the seating changes on the 717 are in place.

These surveys are always a bit of a joke. The fact that Detroit McNamera is not even listed in the top ten and that MKE is listed just behind DCA reflects the bogus nature of the survey.

I will agree that MKE is easy to connect through because it is small. Notable deficient areas where MKE scored low are: 1) comfort design, 2) food services, and 3) perceived security.

If one ever has the misfortune to have a long layover, MKE is the pits. Concourse D is long overdue for its forthcoming makeover.

I have had a long layover and your absolutely right it is miserable. I'd much rather, if I have to, have a layover in Detroit or Chicago. More too do. Only so much people watching at MKE and the food options suck. Glad to hear they are getting more options. You would think your top carrier would get some priority for dining options. Oh well, that is my humble opinion on that matter.

Spend $35.00 and relax in the Best Care Club if you are on the D concourse.
