Best Western Rewards - Is "GCCI" level the same as Gold Tier?

I have left my account dormant for several months now after a less than satisfactory experience with Best Western.

The other day, I was curious enough to open up one of their emails, and I noted that my Tier was listed as "Gold", but upon checking my online account, it is listed as "GCCI". Are these the same thing?

Your Tier was listed as "Gold Elite" or just "Gold"?

The first Tier is called "Gold Elite". Without the "Elite", you don't have status. (Not that status at BW GCCI is worth much.)

It was just plain ordinary "Gold", without "elite" following. Not a big thing to me really. I was just wondering if I had been suddenly comped out of the blue.

Nope. Gold = dirt.

Dirt Tier.
That sounds nice. That with a nice brown color to the card would look great :)

Of course, by the same token, the cards for the actual Elite tiers should show a picture of a mirage. :)
