The Caribbean - Beaches Turks and Caicos (post Sep 15)

Has anyone been to the Beaches Turks and Caicos resort after Sep 15th? What is the condition of the hotel and surrounding area? We are planning to go there in December.

Reports I've seen on StormCarib and ScubaBoard say that Providenciales was largely spared, while Grand Turk, South Caicos, and South Cay took it hard.

I saw on another board that there is some beach erosion, landscaping damage and some damage to the rooms. Beaches has not reopened since the hurricanes because of this and is not reopening until Nov 15.

Everything should be back up and when you go in Dec. Have fun. We aren't going until May.
