I am flying from JFK-KHH with a stopover in Hong Kong in January and have a few questions:
Pros and cons of morning or afternoon JFK-HKG flights: Are they both usually with the new aircraft? Equally crowded? I'm thinking the afternoon one, getting in at 11:00pm might be better as far as jet-lag b/c I could just go to a hotel and sleep. But I don't do much international travel and have never flown a flight this long, so I'd appreciate any input.
Stopping over in Hong Kong: I'm thinking of trying to schedule this so I have some time to see Hong Kong on the way home. I'm traveling alone. Is this do-able? I could get an early morning flight from KHH getting in at 9:10 and I think there's a nonstop to JFK at 5:30pm and then one at 1:00am that stops in Vancouver. Would the earlier one be enough time? Any tours leaving from the airport?
Connecting in HKG: Is 90 minutes a reasonable amaount of time to make a connecting Dragonair flight ?
Thanks for any suggestions!
