American Express Membership Rewards - Any UK signing up MR offers?

We had an application to apply for Amex platinum charge card earlier this year which offered 10K MR points. We didn't take it up then but have since decided that the benefits might now outweigh the cost.

I suppose the MR offer will now not be honoured but does anyone know if there are any other offers out there that I could look for.

I received a recent offer as a cardholder to refer other people. However this was 5k each rather than 10k to the new cardholder.

FlexSelect is also now being offered with a 5k 'bribe' rather than 3k as before.
