Has anyone used this feature before of Membership Rewards? I currently owe them 10k points because I previously used this feature. I recently close all my amex cards linked to my membership rewards and I was wondering I how I can repay them for the used points since I will no longer be able to accumulate 10k in points. Are they gonna send me a bill? Or they will charge any amex card that I have even though they are not linked to that membership rewards account? Any inputs will be appreciated...

You will be charged for all those points at not so pleasant rate to the card that was eligible for MR points at the time of advance. See T&C: http://www.membershiprewards.com/catalog/landing/pointsadvance.aspx#QandA12
Ouch, that is a steep price under normal circumstances. I guess there are a few instances when its worth it anyway though.
