American Express Membership Rewards - Advice = Business MR to *Wood

Just got and paid the first year renewal fee for the primary and one car. $ 125 + $45. Wow ! We really just convert all the points to Starwood anyway. Seems the Starwood Business Card makes the most sense. I’d love to get the first year deal too, collect the credit for the fees just paid, and transfer over the balances.

Appreciate any thoughts and experiences on this. Are the credit decisions for the Starwood card handled the same as the small usiness cards and does it contain the Global Assist feature ( for roadside assistance ? )

Please don't transfer anymore MR points to SPG points, its a truly terrible value. You have access to CC, depending on your comfort level (I'm not completely comfortable with trading yet), consider doing some deals on there. 100,000 MR points will get you 33,333 SPG points. I'm sure someone would be willing to make you a better offer than that.
