I booked a flight to Jamaica in May. I booked early to be guaranteed a direct flight and had my seats assigned. Air Canada booked me Air Jamaica and advised they were affiliated.
2 days ago I received an email advising of a flight change. They cancelled my flight to Jamaica and the flight home had an overnight stopover in Kingston Jamaica!!! When I called I was advised that there were no direct flight available. While I was on hold I looked online and there "were" flight available. I asked to be put on one of these flights, was put on hold for over 20 minutes and then told they would call me either later today or tomorrow to advise if they would "honor" the direct flight arrangement previously booked.
I am so frustrated. I leave for holidays in less than 2 months and have no flight booked to Jamaica.
I booked this flight through Sandals as we had booked to stay at Sandals Negril in November.
