Hong Kong authorities has received applications from six airlines for adjusting fuel surcharges or extending the effective periods of the current fuel surcharges. Out of the six, four were revealed: All Nippon Airways (ANA), Cathay Pacific, Nepal Airlines, and Saudi Arabia.
On the other hand, Emirates and Qantas both plans to lower fuel surcharges in October. Qantas plans to decrease up to 15% from the current fuel surcharge, but will not confirm the numbers until the calculations come out at the end of this month.
