Hilton HHonors grants elite qualification credit for award stays, but even HHonors only counts paid stays for points promotions.

that's what got me confused - it doesn't explicitly mention award stays. IIRC check in/booking bonuses and such post on cash an points and possibly award stays. On a related note is C&P eligible?

Is a stay started before 1st of october and ended after the 1st of october is considered as a elligible stay for this promotion?

The T&C says "Members will receive an email confirming that three (3) Qualifying Stays have been obtained by December 31, 2008 or up to 3 weeks later depending on date of last Qualifying Stay.".

I had my third stay and qualifying stay in early November (total 6 stays in the period), but haven't received any confirmation from GoldPoints yet.

When you search for a award stay, one of the listet room options will say something like "for nights for half point", just try to book a four night stay, and you will see it. Guess it will only work for one reservation:(
