If you filled in the email field with the care and attention that all your flyertalk posts suggest, it may be gone forever ....

That's a bit rough if you booked today and wanted to travel today.
I guess, as long as you have the PNR, you could always request a copy at the airport.

Yea it would be, altho she did offer to fax it to me but i said ill rather just wait till the email comes. Me thinks he could be to do with the move to ingrate domestic etickets and boarding passes gone wrong.

Ah that explains something.
Business Direct had email problems last Friday as well.
Not that I really bother with etickets anyway.

It finally turned up 8hours later, Although the new email layout is not MAC OSX friendly at all. Had to use web mail to read it because they have made the layout over kill and it only work with limited email clients.

The attached pdf files don't even show up in Mac OS X Mail! This makes these new Etickets even less useful than I first thought they would be.
But they still allow Mac OS users to book tickets with them!

All the email needs to be is plan Text with the PDF file attached.
At least we can still book online although one simple if statement on their web site could stop us if they wished to. Note in most of NZ media where there is a laptop including the safety demo is a Mac.

Every time I see the long-haul safety demo with the woman in Business Premier putting away her MacBook (http://store.apple.com/nz/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook?mco=MTE3MjE) I think "why doesn't she fly Y and spend the savings on the ticket on upgrading to a MacBook Pro (http://store.apple.com/nz/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook_pro?mco=MTIyMDM)?" ;)

Thank you for your feedback.
I apologise for any inconvenience and I have forward your email to our Website Management Team. The quick fix whilst we investigate the problems certain users are experiencing, is to have the electronic ticket sent to another email address such as gmail, hotmail, yahoo or other where you can retrieve the email using your web browser rather than the MAC OSX mail application.
I hope this information is of assistance and if you have any other enquiries please do not hesitate to email us.
Kind regards,

The 17" Macbook Pro would be like bigger than the tray table. Thats one time the normal Macbooks are better "Inflight".

I have used both my 14" Macbook and 17" MacBook Pro in Y (though not at the same time), and it's not as comfortable as sitting at my desk, but not bad either.
To me, the size of the laptop matters less than seat pitch and design/height.
Before Space+ seating I could never get anything done on NZ domestic even on the little MacBook. Now with Space+ it's possible to work on domestic flights. The long haul seat in Y is quite good for laptop use.
