This is, unfortunately a fairly restricted fare. Valid only Mon-Thur beginning sometime in October. Really restricts the ability to use it for a mileage run. Also, the taxes involved in flying to London are pretty prohibitive, adding about $80 to the fare. Total fare including taxes for a departure in November is $397. Thus the cost per status mile is $0.0382. A little high, but reasonable. Add the flight up to ORD and the cost per status mile actually rises to $0.0421.
