Air New Zealand Air Points - Transfer time at AKL

Hello,

I arrive at AKL on NZ 88 from Shanghai on a Monday moring at 06:45 next month and will transfer to NZ 123 to Melbourne, scheduled to leave at 07:40. LH booked this for me, but is that transfer time realistic?
Should I expect to have problems?
Any general tips for making the connection?
Will I have to go through passport control and/or customs? I guess at least one security check.
Will I have to change terminals?

You will have to re-clear security but not customs as you do not leave air side. LAG rules apply at this check point so dont buy any liquid or gels Duty free till you get throw the AKL check point.

Time wise I'm not sure if 60mins would be enough although if it is all on one ticket you should have no problem getting on the next flight if you miss it.

55 minutes is equal to the minimum connection time for NZ international->international connections at AKL.
