As I am not a Lifetime Ambassador member, I cannot help. I wondered if a compromise offer - such as letting Lifetime Ambassador members get lifetime Admirals Club membership for a reasonable "conversion" fee would help?

What do you mean by "acknowledging lifetime Aviator miles" by AA????

They are proposing a reduced renewal fee...with no definition yet on what that means.

As to your other question, AA recently announced that lifetime Aviator miles, not your ending Aviator balance, would count towards AA's 1 & 2 million miler lifetime gold/platinum status.
