I have a reservation for pickup at 11:15 pm on 9/26. As per my usual practice I got online to see if the rate had gone down since I originally reserved. When I put in 11:15 pm as pickup time it came back with a message that "The location is open for SPECIAL HOURS between 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM on 09/26/2008".
It also seems that other dates around that time give the same message. So two questions:
1. Has that location permanently changed their business hours? I can't seem to get anyone to answer at the local number.
2. Doesn't Budget make any effort to contact folks with reservations that now fall outside of their open hours? I can imagine the fun of arriving at STL late at night and either waiting for a Budget bus that never comes, or getting to a closed lot.
FWIW, Hertz came down in price since I originally reserved so I cancelled my Budget reservation and went with them.
