These are the long-anticipated Contemporary (Bay Lake Tower) and the somewhat surprising "Treehouse" resorts.

As a long-time owner, I think if you've considered the DVC plunge, you should take a look at these. The Contemporary will be "across the street" from the Magic Kingdom, and I can hear "location, location, location" going off in my ear.

Families with little kids wanting to go back to the room for a nap will LOVE this convenience. And apparently there will be bathrooms in at least some units from which you will be able to soak in a jacuzzi and watch the evening fireworks.

Not so sure yet about the Treehouses, which will be a rebuild of a complex beloved by many WDW old-timers.

There will be a show Thursday evening on the Travel Channel about these, I'm told.

Sales commence Sunday, Sep. 21, to current DVC owners first.

This is very interesting the article published and thanks for sharing more information about new resorts at Walt Disney property. I won't mind to try see new resorts hotel at Walt Disney World for quite of long time. I think this is very fabulous resorts near Magic Kindgon. Its will not to be guaranteed the reasonable price are very expensive where we stay at Disney hotel. I won't go back to Florida for a long time. Thanks for your clarifications about news published.

I was mildly interested in the Bay Lake Tower until I got a look at the cost per point as well as the points usage for room type. To stay in a 1 bedroom during the holidays for a week requires something like 300 points - at $112 per point.

Granted, the location is outstanding, but not that much better than the Beach Club Villas, and the prices are obscene.

But, I'm sure Disney is doing a brisk business selling them :)
