NZ Tourism has been spending up to let us know, here on the Wist Island. :)

Useful info for anyone with time after the CHC Do. ^

A bonanza for some operators. Hoepfully futaris will keep the sales info coming and some of us will make it across this year. :)

Lead-in fares this year are lower than they have been due to competition.

No fantastic sale fares to NZ at the moment, but as Kiwi Flyer said Lead-in fares are lower than they used to be. And of course it is still cheaper to buy a one way from Australia, and buy the return in NZ.

On a side note, Pacific Blue are running a Sky-Jump game (http://www.pacificblueskyjump.co.nz/) to win a trip for 4 to the Gold Coast. Only NZ residents are eligible. It's almost as fun as catapulting koalas (http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=852648).
