Las Vegas - MGM Sky Lofts Alternative?

I have stayed at Sky Lofts before and was looking to book a stay for next April as I am going to be visiting Las Vegas for a conference. Unfortunately, for the dates I want to book the entire Sky Lofts floor has been blocked off for some kind of event.
Sky Lofts have added me to their "wait list" but I have doubts as to whether anything will pull through. Does anyone have experience with their wait lists? The main reason I was posting though was to see if anyone had any recommendations as an alternative to Sky Lofts that was a similar type product?
We will be looking for something similar to Sky Lofts that is two or three bedroom and in the $2000 - $3000 per night range or there abouts. I have an Amex Centurion Card if that will help at all in terms of gaining reservations. I read some details about villas at the Wynn but I am not sure if they are simply open to book or would be within my price range?
Thanks for any advice in advance :)

How about calling AMEX concierge and see if they can arrange a reservation for you.

Why don't you just call Wynn??? @:-)Thought I would see if anyone had any advice here first. How about calling AMEX concierge and see if they can arrange a reservation for you.I actually did call Centurion Travel after I couldn't book online with Sky Lofts directly. They spoke to Sky Lofts who mentioned the "wait list" to Amex.
Any advice on other suggestions is welcome... :)

Book something now at Wynn or Bellagio and when Skylofts open up cancel original reservation. Have fun.
Alternative to Skylofts in terms of accommodation? The choices are too numerous to list. They're often compared to Fairway Villas at Wynn and while they are every bit as nice as Skylofts, Wynn won't send you a complimentary limo, give you a butler, etc. At least not with that level of villa.
If you want all the same amenities and service, then it's a little tough. There are a few alternatives, but they're out of your price range (around $5K per night). The best option I would suggest is to call Bellagio and ask about the "Diamond VIP" service. Basically, with a penthouse booking or better, you get round trip limo (Lincoln stretch--nothing fancy), VIP lounge access, in-room check-in, and some extra in-room amenities for an additional $300 I think. It's basically Skylofts minus the overrated butler.

Thought I would see if anyone had any advice here first.Well, nobody here can tell you whether Wynn has any availability to book a villa for cash on your dates of travel.

i can only think of 3 options for $3K >
2BR penthouse D @ palms place - from $3000
2BR penthouse @ trump - from $3500 (overpriced IMHO)
DLX suite + ? @ FS - $?
FS Suite might be a good choice.... Best service on the strip I have experienced. If you want to PM me your dates I can find our specifically what the waitlist chances are from my contact at MGM.
