I know the Kindle has been discussed before but I'm not sure this has been covered (if it has, sorry I couldn't find it.)

Some of the travel guide books I use are not available for Kindle. If I scan the pages I want into my notebook in PDF form, can I then transfer them to my kindle?

If not, is there any other way?

TIA

You can transfer things to your kindle by connecting through your computer's USB or by e-mailing it to the Kindle e-mail address you will be assigned. There is a small cost, $.10 per document, for e-mailing. Easy to do.

I didn't think that the Kindle supported PDF natively. I suppose I could just check on my wife's, but she is loathe to let me touch it. :D

I've e-mailed .pdfs to myself and they work fine. The only problem is that they (books) show my e-mail address as the author.
