Hi guys, I loved games but currently don't have enough times to play complicated games these days. That's why I prefer DS lite. They have tons of small, simple, time waster type of games, perfect for waiting on appointment (doctor, meetings, clients, boarding, etc), or during flight. The DS keeps me sane for waiting and never leaves my bag/pocket.
My recommendations:

Brain Age 1 & 2
Big Brain Academy
Club House Games (42 games, hearts, blackjack, turncoat, love it but have bugs on 'connect five' which frustrates me)
Cooking Mama
Diner Dash
Electroplankton (not really games, it's a music conducting games, quite unique and fun)
Feel the Magic xx-yy (hillarious small games, highly recommended, one of my must have lists)
Flash focus
Meteos
Metroid prime Pinball (It's pinball)
New Super Mario bros
Osu Tatakae Ouendan (Music games, hillarious, the Americanized ver. is "Elite beat Agents" which not quite as hillarious, more like lost in translation, so pick this one instead of Elite Beat Agents)
Polarium
Picross (puzzle games using logic and deduction, more like minesweeper in windows)
Zoo Keeper (Bejeweled knockoff)
Warioware touched (small games, prefer Feel the magic though)
Top Spin2 (Tennis Games)
Winning eleven (Soccer Games)
Tetris DS
Sudoku Platinum (Best Sudoku games for DS)
Space invader revolution (old school games)

So any DS lovers here? What's your favourite games?

Nintendo DS lite (http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-DS-Lite-Polar-White/dp/B000FO4KO8/ref=pd_bbs_5?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1221349468&sr=8-5) it's a portable gaming system created by nintendo which incorporate dual screen, stylus and touch screen. Some of its games are intuitive and fun for anyone who never played videogames. It's a perfect substitute for reading or watching movies on laptop while waiting on connection or plane. Some DS puzzle games are perfect for adults.

I gave my mom (in her 50's, non english speakers) for her birthday presents, she wants it for playing tetris, yet she's addicted to some of the games I mentioned above, such as: Brain age, ClubHouse games, Uno, Picross, sudoku, etc. If my mom can play, anyone can play it too ;)

Tough call as many of the "kiddie" games are thoroghly enjoyable as an adult, such as: Final Fantasy, Mega Man, Myst, Assassin's Creed (just to name a few of the latest).

I'm surprised you didn't list Professor Layton.

Looking at your list, I assume you've got an R4?

I love Final fantasy games but I just don't have enough times for it these days. I just knew about Prof. Layton today, I'll give it a try and yes I do have a R4;)

If I remember correctly, there's a new 'brain' game out called "Professor something or another Brain something". It's one of the more recent ones in the No Intro DS lists.

Yeah, sounds like I need to play some of those. ;)

In my defense, I'm in an airport lounge without access to my home PC (and didn't bring my DS :( ).
