Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Weird Fare on CX

anyone notice anything wierd with the fares on CX. just a day or two ago i was checking jfk-hkg and getting a price with all fees around 1100 USD. Now the fares ( flexible dates) is showing around 3-4 thousand dollars for a Y ticket? is this just some glitch with the website today?

I get this sometimes, and when it happens to me, i just call up an asian travel agency for the ticket.

I was going to start the exact thread. I get JFK-HKT from any USA gateways over $4000. But I checked on MOBISSIMO and it gives a decent fare, $1300, through Vayama. Has anybody had any experience with Vayama-CX fares?
