Midwest - Argosy Casino And Hotel

I will be arriving into CVG on a Saturday for a one night stay. I was thinking about checking out the Argosy Casino and wanted to know if anyone has played or stayed at that casino. Also, any other suggestions on what to do in this area would be great. I was thinking about staying at the Sheraton at CVG but another option would be staying at the casino hotel. Thanks

Staying at CVG will allow you to be closer to the "nightlife" of Covington, not really much going on by the boat.

Can anyone recommend a hotel or area to stay at. Im thinking of staying at either the Sheraton CVG or the Hilton CVG. Im only in town for one night, anything worth while to see while in town?

The Sheraton at the airport may have been remodeled recently, but it has to be at least 50 years old. If you want to stay in the airport area, I'd go with either the Marriott or the Hilton.

Argosy is okay but I agree that there is nothing to do once you get off the boat. For dinner, you may want to check out the Montgomery Inn Boathouse on the river in Downtown Cincinnati. Great for ribs!
