Dilemna for the day - when I moved out here - it was cheaper to buy a RT ticket than a one way - so now I have an unused ticket - is there anyway that I can use this - transfer it - do something with it??? This was a full price coach ticket.

I also have an unused 1/2 ticket - I had personal plans that collided with (not a good word choice on a FF website!! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif) a business trip - so 1/2 of a trip went unused - however, I "purchased" that trip with a voucher.

Any clue on how to handle these???

Thanks, folks!!

The full fare coach ticket is refundable or can be applied to purchasing another ticket. Must be done within one year of original issue date.

You didn't mention what fare basis the second ticket carries. If it was one of the "cheapies" -- nonrefundable -- it can be changed for $75. Again must be done within one year of original issue. The problem with this scenario is that if the ticket has a half value of (e.g.) $150 and the lowest roundtrip fare in the market is now $400, they'll gig you $50 for the new fare plus the $75.

If you're any level of elite you may be able to get them to "bend" the rules for you.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
