Try to call after mid-night (HKG Time), chance could be better. If u are MPC member with status, should not be any problem, AM hotline might be worser. Try yr luck.;)

It's OK
I tried calling as MPC Gold still waited for 1/2 hour (about 3pm HKG time)

I tell this to the guy who picks up my call every time, but doesn't look like they're doing much.

I tried three or four times, calling AM hot line with my greeny MPC number, Sunday 8pm - 10pm HKT, go straight though and answered within 5 minutes without an issue (Doing open-jaw redeem, flight change for return leg... How great it can be if we can do it online)

But when I called the 800 number from Taiwan in May, Friday 1200 noon till 1600, not a single luck but an error message saying "Your number is invalid"

Call CX reservation line, tell them that you have been trying to call AM for days and waited for over hours but cannot get a hold with anyone. They could send a request to AM to call you. Make sure you are next to the phone for the next hour or so because they will call you.

It's not good, but calling during HK office jours is a complte waste of time. After midnight HK time normally gets answered straight away.

What is the exact number that you called? I know it's a "+" there, but you need to call "0080027475500," regardless of whether you are using 中華、台哥大, etc.

Ya I did that. I end up calling +852-27475500 and got busy tone, so I gave up the flight change and take 1 flight earlier back to HK

I would like to know too. I ended up using my calling card to call HK MPC instead of the toll-free number. Or should that be 00180027475500 (or 00280027475500)?

I got really confused here... Are you talking about calling from Taiwan mobile phone?

My concern is calling from a USA mobile phone and USA landlines. Any idea folks?

From american cell phones: +800-2747-5500
From American land lines: [international access code (might be 00 but I'm not sure)] 800-2747-5500

If you're using a landline, make sure you have IDD. You can use a calling card too.

For US, 011-800-2747-5500. I used that many times from my land line. I never tried that with my mobile, as I have no idea whether there is any additional charge besides air time.
