Asiana Club - What to expect on Asiana LHR-SEL in C ?

Asiana offers some very nice rates from LHR to SEL - so far only flew them short haul TOK-SEL, so what could I expect in C in comparison to European carriers (LH, AY, LX)? Service, meals, seat, etc?
By that time I'll be LH SEN - does it mean anything there?

I do this 4 or 5 times yearly.
Being SEN gets you nothing.
It's better than LH/LX. More food and better quality. And you don't have a hub to get to.
You'll get a 777 with 2-3-2,normally 4 rows with toilets at back on each side. PTV.
Occasionally you get AVOD, which has 5 rows, and also has a coffee bar affair up front behind the partition.
Food: served and gone by 11 pm will be fish plus salad; restaurant sized main course; cheese fruit dessert (all of that). Choice is steak or fish usually, with Korean alternative. Wine you choose with the choice of meal at the start. Water bottle for flight and crew walking up and down all the time to see if anyone needs anything.
Mid flight you get noodles, if you want. 3 hours before landing (lunchtime in Korea, but about 4 am in your head) you get a two course lunch, often beef kebab or saithe.
PTV is pretty disastrous, as it often doesn't have what is advertised on it in the way of films. I saw Wizard of Oz a month ago, as best choice.........
Seats are good, lie flat at 160 degrees. Arm goes up and down as you recline or not.
Crew are excellent.
On way back you get 3 meals, and probably a face-pack (really!)

Excellent, definitely worth a try! Thx
As a bonus it's at least 500 eur cheaper than the LH option and well over 1000 eur cheaper than the direct HEL-SEL would be.

I flew LHR-ICN-SYD ealrier this year in C. Found OZ excellent, crew, seat, food, ICN for transfers all good. Only downside the IFE was pretty rubbish and when you have flown x4 best part 11 hour sectors in a few weeks you begin to realise how good some airlines IFE offerings are..!
G-BOAC did an excellent OZ TR.

One more thing - is 60 mins enough for connection at LHR T1?

Tight, but T1 is a lot quieter these days.
OZ work hard to close the doors on time, if your inbound is running late you may have a problem.

No, it's the other way round, coming back from SEL and catching the AY flight to HEL - I wouldn't care to overnight in LON if not absolutely neccessary..
In my experience with other airlines they are often arriving ahead of time on intercontinental routes - any thoughts on the SEL-LHR route?

Oh OK. Day we departed LHR the inbound aircraft was 45 mins early from ICN, on the day we arrived back we were an hour early, but had to wait as the gate was not free and then there was some other frigging around, so actually left the door pretty much dead on the arrival time, which was a bit frustrating.

depends a lot on China; if their ATC is clear, you'll be OK.
o/wise you sit at ICN watching the minutes tick by.
