Sixt - SIXT GOLD CARD = Higher Price..!!!

Hi all,

I am a SIXT GOLD CARD holder and just found out something weird...

If I try to make a reservation with my Gold Card, I am quoted the price of € 129,00 + TAX (19%) and without any insurance = Total: € 153,51 (no insurance!)
If I make the same reservation for the same type of car without inputting my Gold Card details, I am quoted € 126,00 including tax and Full coverage....

Is that a common issue with SIXT..? I always thought that being a preferred renter gives me an advantage and not a DISadvantage....:(

Sixt is a little tricky. When I book Sixt, I always "play" with several bookings, specials etc.

And I have the same problem with my Diamond card.

You can always log out, reserve, then add in card number at the end (for upgrades etc....)

Any Status-Discount will be based on the standard rate. If there is any other discounted rate (early booking etc.) it might be cheaper. If you are an ADAC-member and book via their homepage, it might be even cheaper.

Internet rates are not discountable.
Weekend Sixt rates are good (from friday 12pm to monday 9am).
