Trip Reports - Endless delay within 11 days (UA Trip report)

From Aug 15 to Aug 26, I had several delays when I traveled on United Airlines.
It was exhausted......

1. AUG 15 2008 - LGA-ORD-MCI (http://pigx5.com/Photos/2008/08/20080815_LGA-ORD-MCI/)
Delay due to weather x 1
Delay due to mechanical problem x 2

2. AUG 18 2008 MCI-ORD-SFO-TPE (http://pigx5.com/Photos/2008/08/20080818-19_MCI-ORD-SFO-IDB-TPE/)
Delay due to weather x 1
Misconnecting x1
Delay due to wait for connecting passengers x 1

3. AUG 26 2008 TPE-SFO-ORD-MCI (http://pigx5.com/Photos/2008/08/20080826_TPE-SFO-ORD-MCI/)
Delay due to mechanical problem x 1

I would liek to say ORd is the worst airport i ever been. Out of 20 flights from ord to toronto, only 2% of time are on time, the rest are either delay for 1+ hour or cancelled due to weather, mechanical issue, crew work hour issue

I flip a coin to determine whether or not I will leave on the plane that was originally intended for me when I fly out of ORD. It seems like every other trip involves changing planes after boarding or switching gates due to delays.

On the other hand, it makes everywhere else seem so much better.

It is so sad to stay in Kansas.......
From Kansas, United Airlines only fly to DEN, ORD, and IAD.
I always fly to NYC.
If I go through DEN, the price is higher and it takes more time.
In addition, the weather problem happens frequently during the winter.
ORD is a hell. There are lots of weather issues no matter in summer or in winter.
IAD is the hell of hell. Only United Express will fly to IAD from MCI.
No food service even in first class.
Compare with DEN and IAD, ORD is still a "better hell".

It's sad to see that your flights got delayed so many times. My flight from JFK-LAX also got delayed by AA for 2+ hours due to mechnical problems... not pleasant. I was in coach, no food... so I wonder if there's really a need to post pictures.
