bmi diamond club - Query re. VA Redemption flights from BMI

Two weeks ago today I used a bucket load of BMI miles to book Virgin Atlantic redemption flights for my family MAN - MCO next summer.

I can see that they are "confirmed" on CHECKMYTRIP, but neither the miles have been deducted yet from my BMI account, nor has the cash for the taxes been debited from my bank account.

I'm sure all is OK, but I have a nagging worry that something may have gone wrong. Why so long to deduct the miles and cash?

Any advice or reassurance out there?

This means that BD have not yet issued the ticket (if you look at the check my trip record, you will see that there is no e-ticket number). Normal practice for BD. It could take months.

If you do a search, you may well find a long thread with horror stories regarding reservations being cancelled due to the ticket not being issued in time. This is an issue with some *A carrier, especially SQ, but not, afaik, VS. So, I would not overly worry at this stage were I in your shoes.
