Hi all,
This seems like a bit of a dumb question, so apologies in advance.

Whilst reviewing the NZ website, I see that the discount business award fares are pretty good value of airpoints. I always presumed that they were quoted as one-way fares per person, but now I am not so sure:

Available to travelling Gold Elite, Gold, Silver and Koru Club members along with one travelling companion.

So could someone clarify if the airpoints quoted (london = 2270airbucks) is for two people (excluding all the taxes etc)?
Secondly, What class do they book into? Is it Z class?
And thirdly, do they allow a stopover or do they have to be on the same flight number and plane?
many thanks
dj

It is for one person but you can utilise the special award fare for a travelling companion.

The airbucks quoted are per person one-way.

The with one travel companion bit gives non-status people access to these awards, but only if flying together with a status person on the same award booking (same flights).

I imagine it books into I class (*A business class awards).

As these awards are limited to NZ routes only there are not many places you actually could have a stopover en route. I don't know if these are allowed.

I can confirm that they book into I class.
