Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - MUC LH T2: handling of bulky baggage on arrival

hello all, sorry, i am in rant mode...

arrived yesterday on an uneventful quick and reliable LH flight from TXL. one bag checked plus one bulky baggage item. plane got directed to an apron parking position, shuttled by bus to the terminal. i felt it took unreasonably long until the belt started (three flights serviced via the same belt), so o.k., maybe something not normal...

but the annoying thing is that i got my bag after maybe 30mins and then had to wait another 20mins for the bulky baggage to arrive, without notice. there was one other pax, a woman with a small toddler, waiting for a child's seat and another big bag with me and she really was stressed...

the next thing that annoys me is that the items are not brought to the belt (well, i guess they are not too big so they fit the system), but they appeared on three (!) different belts, none of them the actual belt where the baggage from the flight came through. so, it kept me busy running around to fetch my stuff plus the bags for the lady...
i was out of the hall one hour after leaving the plane (which did not amuse the friend waiting for me).

am i just unlucky or is this happening more often in T2 in MUC? i remember i even filed a "lost baggage" claim last year with the same item after waiting ages only to be called on my mobile in the parking that it eventually came through (and the nice LH agent brought it out of the hall for me).

it's a pity because i really like T2 and the way LH handles the operations there generally.

The luggage rodeo at MUC is a mess. Indeed, I experienced the same since a couple of months: you have to wait min. 15 to 20 min. before belt starts to run. So any priority badge is worth nil at all as you have to wait a very long time anyway.

I do not know what the reason exactly is as it was better before. And instead of T5 at LHR MUC has a luggage system from Siemens which works, so it must be another reason why it takes so long now.

Never dealt with oversize baggage since T2 but in T1, the service was really great. My skiers often showed up before the regular baggage and that one came up pretty fast already!
