Virgin flying club - UC blocked seats on 346?

Hello. I am a Virgin virgin. I will be on VS056 IAD-LHR on Thursday. It is a late night flight, departs 2310. When I first booked the flight it was scheduled to be a 343 and I selected 2K. Somewhere along the line the a/c was switched to a 346 and I noticed in the seat map that rows 1-8 or so all showed as "unavailable" and my seat had been changed to one closer to the bar. I changed it to 9A to be as far from the bar as I could because I intend to sleep as much as possible. My question is, is there a reason they would block out the entire front of the cabin? It looks like about half of the rest of the UC seats are open. What's the likelihood I will be able to get 2K in the end? And what's the best way to go about getting it? Arrive early (which I intend to do anyway to hang out in the Clubhouse)? CI online (would those seats open up)?

The front of the cabin is the snooze zone on east coast to UK overnight flights. Phone up VS and you can get a seat in the zone allocated. Or ask at checkin. The snooze zone has no meal service (you can ask to eat at the bar) which is why they block it out. I usually eat in the IAD clubhouse, have a large whiskey on board and then convert 2K into a bed and sleep for the maximum possible time on the flight.

Thanks. I assumed it was something like that. I just called the 800 number and the woman I spoke with took care of reassigning me quickly. I am really looking forward to my first VS experience.

When you check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver indicating that you understand you are foregoing your right to an onboard meal service at your seat. :)
